Grief Recovery

GriefShare

It may be hard to feel optimistic about the future right after a death. If one has lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, they probably have found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt they feel. This can be a confusing time when one may feel isolated and have many questions about things they never faced before.

GriefShare groups meet weekly to help those who have lost a loved one face these challenges and move toward rebuilding their life. Each GriefShare session has three distinct elements:

  • Video seminar with top experts who understand grief and recovery.
  • A Support Group with focus on the video that was presented, allowing participants to discuss the issue and what is going on in the lives of group members.
  • Workbook-based personal study and reflection to help members sort out their emotions through journaling.
